About
Pride Football Australia aims to bring together football players and supporters, regardless of their gender or sexuality, to share their love of the game and promote equality, acceptance and diversity.
Pride Football Australia was born out of Australia’s first LGBTQ+ football tournament held in 2009. The Pride Football Australia Tournament has grown over the years to become the marquee annual LGBTQ+ football event for players and supporters.
In 2012, Pride Football Australia was created as a standalone, non-profit organisation.
At FFA we believe it is the right of every player, coach, volunteer and fan to feel accepted, on and off the sporting field, regardless of their sexuality
